Meet Amanda Morris: A Champion for Small Business Owners

Amanda Morris is a senior finance professional with over 20 years of experience spanning startups, construction, retail, and service industries. Her extensive expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash management, and overseeing daily accounting operations, human resources, and IT for diverse, cross-functional teams.

But Amanda's mission is more than just numbers and spreadsheets—it’s personal.

 

A Passion Fueled by Experience
Amanda's passion for helping small business owners navigate IRS issues and find hidden tax savings comes from her own story. As a small business owner, she faced the stress of an IRS audit that was poorly handled by her representatives. The experience left her frustrated and determined to ensure no other small business owner would endure the same ordeal.

 

That determination drove Amanda to earn her Enrolled Agent (EA) Certification, the highest credential awarded by the IRS. Enrolled Agents are federally licensed tax professionals who have the authority to represent taxpayers before the IRS. This certification requires rigorous testing and ongoing education, ensuring that Amanda stays up to date with the ever-changing tax code and IRS regulations.

 

As an Enrolled Agent, Amanda has the knowledge and authority to:

  • Represent individuals and businesses in IRS disputes and audits.

  • Advocate for tax savings and ensure compliance.

  • Defend clients against IRS challenges with professionalism and expertise.
